Lisa Ford is the Crime Prevention Specialist and the Community Liaison for the Broken Arrow Police Department. As Crime Prevention Specialist Lisa manages numerous special events for the police department including volunteer programs with over 250 volunteers in public relations. She has also instructed over 100 other law enforcement agencies on running successful volunteer programs through the Oklahoma Regional Community Policing Institute.
Lisa partners with many businesses in her line of work and offers her wisdom and expertise to many non-profit organizations. She is the Facebook administrant for the Broken Arrow Police Department, Broken Arrow Senior Center, Tulsa Police Officers Memorial, and the Broken Arrow Rotary Club.
Lisa was awarded the Inaugural Community Impact Award in 2016 by the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce. The Community Impact award is part of the Successful Women’s Luncheon series, which brings together women who are active in the Broken Arrow community. Lisa was nominated alongside 15 other women who’ve contributed to Broken Arrow.
Lisa sits as Board of Directors for Broken Arrow Seniors, Broken Arrow Neighbors, PC Power, Dogs Against Drugs, and Leadership Broken Arrow. She is also a Trustee for the Tulsa Police Officers Memorial and is a long-standing member of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce.
Lisa has dedicated her life to community service and hopes to use her history to promote setting goals and future action plans on the school board.

Lisa is married to retired Tulsa Police Officer and former Union School Board member, Ross Ford. Their daughter Kasey is a Union graduate and the current Moore Elementary PTA President. Her son Ryan is also a Union graduate and currently has a grandson at Moore Elementary.
